It's a Secret...

Hey Y'all!
I wanted to talk about a sensitive issue today. You know that girl in your class who sits in the back quietly and doesn't want you to talk to her? You know that girl who is like THE most popular girl in school? The girl who raises her hand and knows all the answers to any math problem? You know the girl who is a slob and always gets in trouble?
You all can probably think of at least one girl you know that is like that. I'm sure. It shouldn't be too hard. Someone in class, school, camp...? Or even family member? Unless you live on a deserted island, I'm positive that you know someone that fits one of those things. 100 percent sure.
But do you really KNOW these people? I mean, really  know them? I mean, every person has big secrets inside of them. Bigger than you can ever imagine. I'm not talking about how she failed History or is in a fight with her mother.I mean real secrets. Deep dark ones.
Many people seem fine, and you are sure they have the perfect lives. Some people are sure that I have the perfect life. But that is not true at all. Everyone has some point in their life that they say:
But it's not all right. And there are some things that will never be. But we just have to stay strong. It's not easy to fight for yourself, but sometimes you just have to do it.
My mom sometimes says not to keep it all inside. but it's not possible to let it out. That is why it's called a deep dark secret. In my opinion, sometimes it hurts less to hide it than to reveal it....
I'm sure all of you have your own deep dark secret- because that is how life is right now. And that is why, right now, I am going to say a short teffilla to Hashem:
Hashem, You are the One who can change lives, make yissurim, and take them away. Please, make Mashiach come so that Your children will not have to suffer any longer....

Hope that this spoke to your hearts so that you will look at people in a different way.

Some Musings

Hi guys!
Wow. Just wow. I cannot believe it. My friend just called. Why does that get a "wow"? Because I have not spoken for that friend in like 3 years. And because until now, I would not have called her a friend at all. Rather the opposite.
Without getting too into details, what happened was, this girl had a crazy father who was saying these awful things about me and another few girls, and it sort of rubbed off on her. So... ya. You get it....
So just today- out of the blue-- she called me. And she has matured a lot. So- yay! I got my friend back.
I was thinking a bit about it. Why did she call now? What made her do it?
I don't have an answer to that yet... sorry ☺
Well, Gotta go!

Happy (almost) Purim!!

Hey guys!
Happy almost Purim!!!!
I probably won't post 'till after Purim, so y'all have a great time!!!
There is so much to write about... so I'll have to choose.
First of all, in order to really get this blog hopping, I need more people to know about it.
This is my Google+ page, and all my posts are sent to it. Please tell your friends about this blog. Also, feel free to write to me on my email, doubleytrouble@gmail.com. Please comment!!!
 OK. Now down to business...
They probably have spoken to all of you in school about how Purim is like Yom Kipper, and I bet some of you are like, ok, fine, but I just want to have fun on Purim!!!! (Again not all of you, but some).
Well, I have been through a lot. I admit that my life is far from perfect. But I have felt Hashem through every step of the way. Really. (And I'm just your average girl- not a rebbetzin... :) )
So... I want to try. Really try. Even just a kipptel of Tehillim, or making sure that I daven with more Kavanna than usual.
Also, I know this sounds NUTS, but ( ahhhh!) I don't have a Purim costume yet!!! Those of you who have any ideas-- Please comment below and give me ideas!!!
Anyway, have a great Purim!!

Smile!

Hey guys!!!
Today my post will be about SMILING because guess who went to the dentist today... yup, you guessed it... ME!! It was just a cleaning but I have to go back soon for the checkup. :(
Not that it was fun, but it was OK, since I had my handy-dandy MP3 to listen to... ( Thanx Nechama Cohen for the awesome songs!!!)
The funniest part was when in the middle my earphone fell out. The woman who was cleaning my teeth reached over and put it back in my ear! How cute...!
So I think that now that my smile is brighter, I will be trying to use it a lot!!! ( It's not always easy at school...).
SO here are some cute things I found about smiles. ENJOY!!!

Keep on Smilin' & don't forget to comment!

Waiting

Hi guys,
You all have most likely heard about the Har Nof Massacre, that happened a few months ago. Most of you have probably almost forgotten about it. But there are those who can't forget. Those who saw it with their own eyes, or heard the screams and gunshots. And those who lost friends. And those who are now orphans.
What about the ones who were 'just' injured?
At least they didn't die, chas v'shalom. But... their families are waiting. Mourning. Wishing. Davening.
And while we are happily getting ready for Purim, these families are trying to imagine how they are going to manage Purim without their father.
Rosh Chodesh Adar is a special day for tefillos. So when you are preparing your Challah, or doing any kind of mitzvah, please keep in mind those who are still waiting.
